Community Service

Academy 21 Community Service Requirement

Community Service enhances physical and mental well-being and gives back to our community.

Academy 21 will provide limited opportunities for students to earn the district requirement of 20 hours of community service experience, an average of 5 hours per year, during their high school career.

Students must meet the minimum requirements in order participate in commencement exercises. Any student who performs 40 or more hours of community service during their high school career will be awarded with a Community Service cord at graduation.

Hours will be prorated by 5 community service hours per year on an individual basis for any new / transfer students.

There are two options for earning community service hours at Academy 21. Students may choose to use more than one option to fulfill their requirements each year.
