Back to School Information 23-24

Tuesday 9/5 or Wednesday 9/6     Drop In Hours 9:00 AM - 4:00 PM

* Any students who have not turned in Chromebooks from 2022-2023 will NOT be assigned a new Chromebook OR be able to start classes until turned in. This includes Center Line High School and Wolfe Middle School Chromebooks. 

* Gateway registration (contacts, emergency information, etc) for RETURNING CLPS STUDENTS must be completed in order to complete paperwork, Chromebook pick up, and starting classes. We understand there was an issue with the program last week. We will have computers set up on-site for families to complete Gateway. These updates may not be completed by students - a parent/guardian must complete the updates. 

 

Wednesday 9/6 - Friday 9/8

Grades 2-5

  • Mrs. Chapman will provide you with a schedule at registration.

Grades 6-12

  • Mentor teachers will contact students (via school Gmail accounts) to set up orientation. This is REQUIRED for all students. 
  • Classes will open on September 8th for students who have completed orientation. 
  • Online attendance is recorded beginning September 8th. 

 

Monday 9/11

  • Academic Lab is open for business! REGULAR ATTENDANCE is not a suggestion - it is REQUIRED.
    • Grades 6-8 students must attend minimum 4 times per week AM or PM session. Your mentor will work with you on a schedule. 
    • Grades 9-12 students must attend  minimum 2 times per week AM or PM session. Your mentor will work with you on a schedule.
  • Breakfast and Lunch begins. FREE OF CHARGE and optional.
    • Breakfast at 9:45 AM
    • Lunch at 11:30 AM (AM session students may stay for lunch and leave when finished, PM students may come early for lunch)
  • BUS SERVICE for in-district residents begins. Make sure you arrive to your stop 5 minutes before pick up. NO BUS SERVICE ON WEDNESDAYS.
    • The schedule will be available at Chromebook pick up.
